Bachelor of Medicine

General Content

The complete course of medical studies lasts six years and is grouped into two levels of studies.

The Bachelor of Medicine (3 years, 180 ECTS credits) represents the first level. It is completed by a Master of Medicine (3 years, 180 ECTS credits).

The programme of the Bachelor’s degree focuses on basic science (physics, chemistry), an introduction to biomedical sciences (biochemistry, morphology, physiology) and human medical sciences and public health.

From the academic year 2022-2023 onwards, the rules for passing in the second year of the Bachelor's programme will change. Please look at the website of the School of Medicine for up-to-date information.
